North Decatur Youth are an active and outgoing group of young people who are committed to friendship, fun and service to the community. We meet weekly on Sunday evenings for games, Bible study and worship and we welcome all newcomers grades 6-12.
We are active in serving our community, by providing dinners at Hagar House in Decatur and we recently launched our own small food pantry to serve those who come to our church doors seeking help. Every summer we take a mission trip to extend our service beyond our own community. In 2007 we traveled to the Navajo Nation in Arizona and spent one week painting houses and running an afternoon kids club for local children. In 2008 we will be traveling to St. Louis, MO to volunteer at a women's rehabilitation center and also sending a team to Metro Atlanta Project, a local organization that provides new roofs for Atlanta homes.
We welcome new faces and would love to have you join us. If you are in grades 6-12, come visit us on a Sunday evening. Check out our calendar for upcoming events and programming. God bless!
