When disaster strikes around the globe, UMCOR responds. Give to the United Methodist Committee on Relief to reach out through worldwide ministries of food, shelter, health, and peace.
Strengthen United Methodist outreach to communities in the United States and Puerto Rico. Advocate for the oppressed, encourage social justice, and nurture at-risk youth.
Equip and empower Native American pastors, congregations and seminary students to authentically worship and serve Jesus within their Native American context and communities.
Enable The United Methodist Church to have a voice in advocating for peace and justice through a broad spectrum of global programs.
Provide scholarships for national and international graduate students of color and those in marginalized communities whom God has gifted to learn and to serve.
Provide scholarships and loans for students attending United Methodist-related and other accredited colleges and universities.
Provide grants to churches and ministries that provide services and housing to poor and homeless persons through our Conference.
Help cover the cost of health care, meals, and wellness programs for low income residents at Wesley Woods. Wesley Woods serves the health and housing needs of older adults at nine communities throughout North Georgia.
Give Georgia’s most abused children an emotional, spiritual, and physical safe haven. Murphy-Harpst transforms the lives of abused and neglected children through loving Christian care and personalized treatment programs.
Giving to The Children’s Home enables them to recruit and train new foster parents; to feed, clothe, house, and educate the children and teens; and to provide transitional housing and support for homeless families. The United Methodist Children’s Home restores children and families from trauma through Jesus Christ.
Help persons with developmental disabilities live independent, productive, and full lives by helping with set-up of a new apartment – including deposits, furniture, household goods, and moving assistance – and providing recreational opportunities at Collinswood, a universally accessible retreat facility on Lake Oconee.
Action Ministries mobilizes communities to address the challenges of poverty by focusing on hunger relief, housing, and education. Your gift will help provide safe, secure, stable housing opportunities to veterans, families, and adults with illnesses and disabilities; it will fund food boxes, community kitchens, and childhood hunger relief programs; and it will improve access to educational resources for families.
Provide assistance to persons who are experiencing financial difficulty due to excessive medical expenses by giving to the Golden Cross fund, administered by the Conference Health and Welfare Committee.
