Wellroot Family Services
Giving to Wellroot (formerly the United Methodist Children's Home) enables them to recruit and train new foster parents; to feed, clothe, house, and educate the children and teens; and to provide transitional housing and support for homeless families. Wellroot restores children and families from trauma through Jesus Christ.
Help persons with developmental disabilities live independent, productive, and full lives by helping with set-up of a new apartment – including deposits, furniture, household goods, and moving assistance – and providing recreational opportunities at Collinswood, a universally accessible retreat facility on Lake Oconee.
Golden Cross Grants
Provide assistance to persons who are experiencing financial difficulty due to excessive medical expenses by giving to the Golden Cross fund, administered by the Conference Health and Welfare Committee.
